After years of guests asking to bring them home, we’re thrilled to offer a limited first run of our signature banana leaf plates as part of the Commander’s Collection.
Crafted for Eatin', Drinkin', and Carryin' On, these plates are made from durable alumina vitrified porcelain, the same commercial-grade material used daily in our New Orleans kitchen. Each plate features our iconic banana leaf pattern, a joyful nod to the lush garden courtyard and the sense of celebration that fills every meal at Commander’s Palace.
Designed for both beauty and function, they include a glazed foot, which is a rare detail that allows for smoother stacking, prevents surface scratches, and ensures a refined finish.
Each box includes four 10.5-inch dinner plates, safely packaged in a reusable blue storage box with soft felt dividers. Microwave- and dishwasher-safe, these plates are made to be cherished and used whether for special occasions or Tuesday night suppers.
Bring a piece of Commander’s home, and let every meal feel like a celebration!
And have you seen the box? Each set of four plates comes in a reusable box that we know you'll love. Each plate is separated with a felt plate separator.
Please Note: Flip one over and you may notice six tiny indentations on the back; these are part of the glazing process and not chips or defects, but intentional marks left by the kiln stilts that hold each plate during firing. They’re a hallmark of the craftsmanship that goes into crafting a glazed foot.
